The San Fernando Valley counseling Center has been offering low-cost counseling services to the community since 1971. We are staffed by dedicated interns and paraprofessionals who give treatment in a warm and caring environment.

We treat:
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Stress
• Relationship issues
• Parenting issues
• Children’s issues

Individuals of all ages are welcome, as well as couples and families.

We offer a sliding scale fee schedule based on family income, with a minimum fee of $20.00 per session.

PARENTING GROUP
San Fernando Valley Counseling Center offers a parenting group for parents, grandparents and caregivers who want to improve their parenting skills. Topics that will be discussed include communication, developing responsibility, anger, setting limits, problem solving, feelings, consequences, etc. We offer a six-week session, one and one-half hours each session with time to discuss your personal issues as well as viewing a short tape.
